Ethan Tobman is a Production Designer born in Montreal, Canada. At age 19, Remote, a short film he wrote, directed and production designed was selected for the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2021 and 2022, he was the recipient of Art Directors Guild awards for Beyonce’s Black Is King and Taylor Swift’s All Too Well, respectively. Feature film and television credits include: The Menu, Pam and Tommy, Free Guy, The Report, Beautiful Boy and the Academy Award-winning Room. Notable music videos include Beyonce’s Formation, Lemonade and Run The World, Taylor Swift’s AntiHero and Bejeweled, Kendrick Lamar’s All The Stars, Ariana Grande’s No Tears Left To Cry, Eminem's Not Afraid and Ok Go’s The Writing’s On The Wall. Ethan has designed Grammy and VMA performances for Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift. In 2023 he served as the creative director for Swift's record-breaking The Eras Tour and designed his first restaurant, the 3 Michelin star Atelier Crenn in San Francisco.
